Farewell Marathon

Time to catch up on some overdue updates after being constantly on the go since I got here 2 weeks ago. In fact, this transfer process sort of started early August and the official offer came in on Oct 9 in the midst of my busy work schedule. It's been a roller-coaster ever since coz there were lots of paperwork to be done within 2 months and I was still working on completing a project on hand up until my last day at work on 11 Nov 2014. The 2 weeks of leave that I had after my last working day just flew by in a blink of an eye.

In the midst of this hectic schedule, I certainly appreciate having good colleagues, close friends, and family who took time to do a few rounds of farewell...feel so loved!! =P

Oct 29 (Wed): Great night out with the D-team girls. Well A-team sounds better if you know what I mean. :P I've been very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with these awesome ladies over the past year and I can't agree more that it's the people that makes the work enjoyable. =)

Nov 5 (Wed): Dinner with the FY15 D-team members at Daorae, had another lunch with the big boss but didn't take any photos. Been with this team for 3.5 years and I can honestly say that I've really enjoyed being part of this team. Good teammates, good bosses, helpful clients, manageable work load and work-life balance, what else could I ask for. Most importantly, this transfer wouldn't have been so easy without the help of my big boss. :P

Our team won the team award this year but we haven't had time to 'spend' the award money yet so the team got me this surprise gift instead and goodbye card. =)

Nov 7 (Fri): Traveled down to KL for the visa interview so took the opportunity to meet up with my favorite lecturer/mentor MsG and Shal in KL. =)

Nov 7 (Fri): Met up with the cousins in KL for dinner and catch up.

Nov 8 (Sat): Had lunch to catch up with 2nd aunt and uncle in KL. 

Nov 16 (Sun): Dinner with my group of best friends at work. I 'successfully' became the first one among us to leave.

Nov 18 (Tues): Best friend came back from Singapore just in time to meet up before I left. My LDR is finally over, hopefully yours will also come to an end soon. :P

Nov 23 (Sun): College buddies came over to KLIA to have a quick meet up during my transit in KL. =)
